Aspen Ladd started her combat sports career at the age of fourteen. After training in kickboxing boxing wrestling BJJ and BJJ she had her first professional fight against Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she turned 18. Ladd was able to continue building upon her victory at Ultimate Reno Combat, where she won 3 consecutive bouts. She knocked out all her opponents within the first round. She then went back to WCFC in which she beat Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen won against Silvia Babaeghian Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo before facing Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia beat Aspen with a majority vote. This put a stain on the record of Ladd's amateur. Ladd bounced back from defeat in the final by beating Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, which brought her record to 8-1. Aspen began her career in 2015after signing to Invicta FC for her professional debut. Invicta eleven saw Aspen dominate Ana Carolina Vidal to score an KO early in the round. Invicta Fc 16 marked her first bout as a Bantamweight. She defeated Amanda Cooper with an armbar in the second round. Aspen's impressive wrestling skills was able to take down McGill in the first round, and she managed to finish her in the third round by TKO (elbows as well as punches). Aspen was then in a fight with Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18, weighing weight of catchweight (138.1lb) in the event that Ladd did not have enough weight. Despite this, Aspen was able to dominate Hoy. The two fighters had an intense fight which Ladd was victorious by a majority decision. The two fighters each received the Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd after 16 seconds, breaking her streak to win. In the third round of UFC at ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. In her most recent fight with the UFC she fought Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 to replace her fight. She lost by unanimous decision.
