Nancy O'Dell began her broadcast career as a reporter and anchor for WPDE-TV in Myrtle Beach South Carolina. Then she became a morning reporter and anchor at WCBD TV. O'Dell's reportage in Charleston about the police's leniency toward DUI cases led to being the State Law Enforcement Division investigating the instances. Ms. O'Dell was recognized by The Associated Press with the Best Report of the Year Awards to all media South Carolina. Following her stint in Charleston, O'Dell worked as an anchor co-host for the NBC's Miami Station WTVJ-TV and also as an investigative reporter.
